Science Visualization specializes in digital painting and 3D modeling. Digital art translates easily into a variety of media platforms, including print for books, large format murals, interactives and video.
Among Science Visualization's projects have been a number of short videos which range in theme from a brain science video prepared for the Kavli Institute to a STEM video for students about the science of soap.
Infographics are a critical tool for visual storytelling in science, whether they are bar charts, networks, or complex exploded views and cutaways. We are expert in doing them all.
New Design Tools
Science Visualization embraces the use of new tools, such as laser scanning, 3D modeling and printing, and augmented and virtual reality. In this project, we laser scanned and then modeled the dinosaur hall at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and their classic T. rex skeleton in high resolution for an experimental research project.
